Catholic Women’s League Annual Advent Dinner
The ladies of our parish CWL gathered Monday night for good food and good cheer. CWL president, Sr. Pat presided over the festive occasion. CWL executive Wendy Poole gave a presentation on Choices, the community outreach to adults with developmental and physical challenges. This year our CWL participated in a drive to provide personalized Christmas bags to those who receive care and support through the Choices program. The ladies were also treated to a brief video on the “Red Cups” controversy, animated by CWL executive Carrie Trudeau.
Not all was business though. Caroling and door prizes featured in making it a fun occasion.
